Friday, May 18: DCR Bike Ban on Charles River Bikepath
[Photos in the rain]
To celebrate Bike Week, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation
and Recreation banned bikes from the section of the Paul Dudley White
Charles River Bikepaths between the Longfellow Bridge and the tennis
courts near Leverett Circle during commuting hours. I couldn't find
this morning's commuter breakfast on Arlington St., so I rode over to
the river and took some pictures. Despite being termed
a mistake by our contacts within the DCR, the signs remain up three weeks
later.

The end of the Bike Week Commuter Challenge was celebrated at the
annual Bike Week Bash at Flattop Johnny's in Cambridge.
