First walk on the New Neponset Trail, Mattapan to Milton
|
After learning late in the day Friday that the new Neponset Trail segment would be open that day,
the soonest I could get out a tour announcement was Saturday, and it seemed like a day's warning would
be best, so Lee Toma and I led a walking tour on Sunday afternoon. We had a nice group, including a few
Greenway Council members, Bill Driscoll, State Rep for this part of Milton, and his family, and a couple
from Milton who wer on the original Greenway Council with me. Lots of people were already using the trail,
including my friends David and Cynthia from Roslindale!
