Huntington Avenue Open Street
|
For the first Circle the City event this year, we closed off Huntington Avenue,
at least the outbound side of one of Boston's major east-west thorofares, for
several hours on Bastille Day. My job, as last year, was to turn the linear
closing into something circular, so I led cyclists from Brigham Circle down the
Southwest Corridor and over the soon-to-be-missed-by-many Casey Overpass onto
the Emerald Necklace and back past the Museum of Fine Arts to our starting point.
