DCR Presents Design for Morrissey Blvd. Including Neponset Trail
On
Tuesday, June 27, the Department of Conservation and Recreation
presented their 25% design plans for the reconstruction of Morrissey
Blvd. between Neponset Circle and Kosciuszko Circle. This includes the
Neponset Circle between Freeport St. and UMass/Boston.
The “Middle” segment, which includes the Neponset Trail, is most
vulnerable to flooding conditions and is funded first for construction.
Here is a good article on the proposed design and the meeting in the Dorchester Reporter.
Here's a PDF file of the DCR presentation.
You can comment on this 25% design phase through July 18.
