Bike Tour of the Neponset Trail and Mother Brook
Sunday, October 20, 2013

It was a gorgeous day for a bike ride, and we got to see quite a bit of color
and New England history as traveled up Mother Brook and back in time from
the Neponset River in Hyde Park to the Charles River in Dedham along
our oldest industrial canal, built in 1639-41 to power mills in Dedham and
later, Boston. We explored the most spectacular, the 1874 East Dedham mill,
which is now condos.
